Remote Elixir Developer (Phoenix)

About the role

BairesDev is looking for an experienced Elixir Developer to join its fully remote team. You will work on scalable applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, collaborating with a global group of top‑tier engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement applications with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Develop concurrent and distributed systems.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality.
• Monitor and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with team members on technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with Elixir.
• Proven experience building APIs and Web Services.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure.
• Ability to design and implement software modules for real‑world applications.
• Proficiency in unit testing and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.
