Remote Civil Engineer – Store Infrastructure Design

About the role

Siempre Grocery PLUS is seeking a full‑time remote Civil Engineer to support the planning and design of store infrastructure, site layouts, parking areas, and utility coordination for current and future grocery locations. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable designs that meet local codes and support the company’s expansion strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs for store sites, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
• Review and assess site plans for compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Evaluate stormwater management solutions and recommend best‑practice approaches for commercial sites.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to coordinate project deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments for infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure (EIT/PE) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and site development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multidisciplinary collaborations.
