Real-Time Systems Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Real-Time Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize deterministic software that runs under strict timing constraints. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to mission‑critical projects for leading technology clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement deterministic solutions on RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr, or QNX.
• Manage and fine‑tune real‑time scheduling to meet hard deadline requirements.
• Develop low‑level drivers and hardware interfaces that respect strict timing and resource limits.
• Design safety‑critical components to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Conduct performance analysis to eliminate latency and jitter in production environments.
• Collaborate closely with hardware teams to align software capabilities with physical system constraints.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience focused on real‑time systems.
• Proven track record building deterministic applications using RTOS technologies.
• Strong understanding of safety‑critical and hard real‑time environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
