QA Automation Engineer – Remote (6-12 months)

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a banking client’s quality engineering team on a 6‑12 month extendable contract. The role is fully remote and focuses on building automated test coverage for customer‑facing and internal platforms while collaborating closely with developers in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver.
• Create robust test frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model) from scratch.
• Perform API testing with tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Validate data and back‑end functionality using SQL.
• Work with defect tracking and test management tools in agile sprints.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Experience designing test frameworks and using BDD tools (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
• Familiarity with API testing tools and CI/CD integration.
• Solid understanding of SQL for data verification.
• Excellent written and spoken English for collaboration with a distributed team.
