About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Associate to support its Non‑Food Items (NFI) programme in Caracas. The role involves assisting with project implementation, monitoring, and administrative coordination to ensure effective delivery of humanitarian assistance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse, and present data on specific project topics.
- Monitor the project budget by verifying fund availability, obtaining approvals, and updating budget information.
- Act as the focal point for administrative coordination, liaising with internal units and external partners to initiate requests, obtain clearances, and follow up on actions.
- Draft status reports, identify shortfalls, and escalate issues to the supervisor with suggested remedial actions.
- Prepare correspondence related to project matters.
