NodeJS Application Architect

About the role

We are looking for an Application Architect who will design robust, scalable, and cloud‑native solutions for our complex business applications. You will translate business requirements into detailed technical designs, define architectural patterns across backend and frontend, and ensure seamless integration of multiple data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into solid technical architectures, producing detailed module designs.
• Define technologies, design patterns, and architectural principles for both backend and frontend components.
• Size and structure the resource architecture for the Order Management System product.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Business Architect to assess feasibility, evaluate alternatives, and keep the roadmap aligned.
• Present architecture proposals, technical roadmaps, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to technical leaders, business stakeholders, and C‑level executives.
• Guide development teams, ensure adherence to standards, and leverage AI‑assisted development tools for documentation and workflow improvement.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in architecture or technical leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to make and defend technical decisions and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders.
• Fast ramp‑up capability in complex environments and proactive leadership style.
• Advanced English proficiency for direct communication with C‑level executives.

Required skills

• Node.js with frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
• Microsoft Azure and cloud‑native architecture design.
• REST API ecosystem design and governance.
• Event‑Driven Architecture and asynchronous processing.
• Integration of multi‑source‑of‑truth systems.
• Authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, SSO).
• Creation and defense of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code).
• Strong English communication skills.
