Mortgage Virtual Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Virtual Assistant to provide direct support to US‑based mortgage brokers and loan officers. This remote position focuses on managing loan files, coordinating with underwriting and title partners, and ensuring smooth closings.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage loan files from submission through closing.
• Order, coordinate, and track appraisals.
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation.
• Follow up with borrowers regarding outstanding requirements.
• Review and help clear underwriting conditions.
• Communicate directly with underwriters, lenders, title companies, and other lending partners.
• Track loan progress and maintain accurate records.
• Update CRM/LOS systems with loan status and borrower information.
• Assist loan officers with lead follow‑up and cold calling when needed.
• Support basic marketing and social media activities, when applicable.
• Provide administrative and operational support to mortgage professionals.

Required profile

• Direct mortgage or lending experience in roles such as Loan Processor, Mortgage Broker Assistant, Loan Officer Assistant, or Mortgage Virtual Assistant.
• Hands‑on experience with US mortgage loan processing, underwriting conditions, borrower documentation, and closing procedures.
• Experience working directly with loan officers, underwriters, lenders, and title companies.
• Candidates with only general real‑estate or transaction coordination experience will not be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mortgage CRM/LOS platforms such as Encompass, Calyx, Arive, and GoHighLevel.
• Cold‑calling and lead generation experience (optional).
• Bilingual English/Spanish or another language (optional).
