Marketing & Social Media Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Marketing & Community Specialist to become a core operational partner for our client. You will own the end‑to‑end marketing execution and community management, revitalize audience engagement and streamline the content production pipeline, freeing the client from day‑to‑day operational bottlenecks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute engagement strategies to revitalize the client’s community platform, monitoring interactions to identify audience needs and content gaps.
• Draft, repurpose, and distribute social marketing content across multiple channels.
• Perform quick video edits (removing stutters/pauses) using CapCut or Descript before final production.
• Upload podcast episodes and YouTube videos, customize templates with compelling hooks, and generate LLM‑based descriptions.
• Vet and schedule incoming guests and appearances.
• Identify relevant industry podcasts, conduct market research and manage cold outreach via email or direct messages to secure features.
• Lead assigned marketing initiatives, ensuring strict alignment with brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing and social media.
• Proven experience in community management and multi‑channel content execution.
• Proficiency with quick‑turn video editing tools such as CapCut and/or Descript.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI/LLM tools for copy optimization and description generation.
• Strong communication skills for cold outreach and guest coordination.
• Quiet home office with stable internet (≥10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up) and backup connection.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.

• Hiring rate of USD 1,288 per month (final rate experience‑based).
