Managing Director - New Business Vertical

About the role

We are looking for a Managing Director to launch and lead a brand‑new vertical at Yummy. This founder‑level position will be responsible for building the business from scratch in Venezuela, covering strategy, team formation, P&L ownership and go‑to‑market execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall business strategy for the new vertical.
• Recruit, lead and develop a cross‑functional team covering product, operations and sales.
• Own the P&L, set revenue targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
• Design and manage the product roadmap while coordinating on‑the‑ground distribution.
• Drive unit‑economics analysis and make data‑driven decisions with urgency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or scaling a merchant‑facing business.
• Comfortable working with both software products and physical operations.
• Track record of managing product development and field distribution simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to own and achieve revenue targets.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
