Manager, Human Resources

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the talent management strategy for International Medical Corps in Venezuela, ensuring compliance with local legislation and organizational policies while providing comprehensive support to both national and international staff.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with country management to align HR strategy with programme objectives and national priorities.
• Oversee data management across HR information systems and payroll, delivering timely reports for decision‑making.
• Ensure accurate recording of personnel files, staffing, benefits, and conduct monthly monitoring reviews.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle for national positions, guaranteeing adherence to policies and labour law.
• Contribute to proposal design and kick‑off meetings, advising on organisational structure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in non‑governmental organisations is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and results‑orientation.
• Fluent oral and written Spanish and English.
• Willingness to relocate to Caracas, Venezuela.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of data analysis (desirable).
