Magento Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Magento Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance e‑commerce storefronts and B2B platforms. You will serve as the technical backbone for online retail operations, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop custom Magento 2 modules to extend platform functionality and meet specific business logic.
• Design and implement responsive themes that deliver a unified user experience across devices.
• Optimize platform performance and database queries for fast loading times during high‑traffic periods.
• Integrate Magento with third‑party services such as payment gateways, ERP systems, and shipping providers.
• Maintain e‑commerce environment security through regular updates, patch management, and code audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or Magento development.
• Proven expertise in building e‑commerce solutions using Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) and PHP.
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture, including custom module and theme development.
• Proficiency in MySQL database management and front‑end technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
