Information Management Officer (4-month TA)

About the role

The Information Management (IM) Officer will lead UNICEF Venezuela’s IM function at the national level, supporting Cluster coordination and ensuring evidence‑based decision‑making during the humanitarian response. Reporting to the Cluster/AoR Coordinator, the officer will work closely with sub‑national coordination groups to facilitate timely and effective information flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the IM function nationally and provide support to sub‑national coordination groups as agreed with Cluster Coordinators.
• Ensure IM processes contribute to a well‑coordinated, strategic, and coherent response for all Cluster/Sector/Working Group participants.
• Collect, analyse, and share critical information to enable evidence‑based strategic decisions.
• Participate in the Cluster Coordination team to strengthen coordination and response efficiency.
• Maintain data quality, documentation, and reporting standards across the Cluster.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the direction of the designated Cluster/AoR Coordinator.
• Experience in humanitarian or development contexts where information management is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset to turn data into actionable insights.
