Human Resources Assistant – G4 (Caracas)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Human Resources Assistant (G4) to support its HR operations in Caracas. This short‑term position will run until 31 December 2026 and offers the chance to contribute to migration‑related programmes within a UN‑affiliated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, and staff records.
• Assist in maintaining HR databases and ensuring data accuracy.
• Prepare routine HR reports, correspondence, and presentations.
• Support payroll and benefits administration under supervision.
• Coordinate training logistics and maintain filing systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field with two years of experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organise paperwork methodically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
