Full-Time Assistant Manager

About the role

Cinemark is looking for a full‑time Assistant Manager to support the overall operation of its theatre. You will work across all departments, ensure policies are followed, and help deliver an unforgettable experience for movie‑goers.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager and support their decisions.
• Work in all theatre departments and perform all job functions.
• Train and coach team members in their specific roles.
• Assist in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspect the building, parking lot, landscaping, signage and equipment, reporting repair needs.
• Enforce dress code, safety, and customer‑service standards.
• Report employee‑relations issues according to Cinemark’s protocol.
• Utilise personal protective equipment and maintain cleaning standards.
• Address safety or security concerns such as trip hazards or suspicious persons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core) in Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Basic food‑handling training and any required local or state certification.
• If handling alcohol, completion of a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
