Financial Coordinator – Caracas, Venezuela

About the role

The Financial Coordinator will ensure sound financial, accounting and budgetary management for Première Urgence Internationale’s mission in Caracas. Reporting to mission leadership, the coordinator acts as the primary financial representative with donors, authorities and partner NGOs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all financial, budgeting and accounting processes, including cash‑flow monitoring for the mission.
• Represent the mission in financial matters with external partners, donors, local authorities and NGOs.
• Centralise and disseminate financial information to headquarters and internal teams.
• Consolidate internal and external financial reporting in line with organisational standards.
• Ensure proper budgeting of the 2026 funds and monitor donor reporting for emergency and development programmes.
• Redefine roles and responsibilities between coordination and base staff to improve financial governance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor reporting requirements and multi‑currency budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is an advantage.
