Emergency Field Coordinator – Caracas

About the role

Solidarités International is seeking an Emergency Field Coordinator for a short‑term mission in Caracas, Venezuela. The role starts on 1 August 2026 and lasts for two months, focusing on coordinating the organization’s emergency response activities, particularly in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field operations related to emergency WASH interventions.
• Coordinate with local authorities, partners and communities to ensure effective delivery of services.
• Monitor project implementation, manage budgets and ensure compliance with humanitarian standards.
• Prepare and submit regular situation reports and operational updates to headquarters.
• Ensure the safety and security of staff and beneficiaries during field activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian emergency coordination, preferably in WASH projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Venezuelan context and ability to work in a challenging environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, make rapid decisions and adapt to evolving situations.
