Elixir Developer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Elixir Developer to join its fully remote, globally distributed team. You will work on scalable applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, collaborating with senior engineers to deliver high‑performance backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement applications with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Develop concurrent and distributed systems.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with team members on technical solutions and architecture decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Elixir.
• Proven experience developing APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of database technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Basic IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience designing and implementing real‑world software modules.
• Proficiency in writing and executing unit tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.
