Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to manage the scheduling and dispatch of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing technicians. The role operates 24/7 in a fully remote environment, ensuring rapid response to emergency calls and efficient execution of preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule field technicians using the BuildOps platform.
• Coordinate emergency service calls and preventive‑maintenance appointments.
• Monitor technician routes, job status, and completion times.
• Update work orders, service notes, and customer records within BuildOps.
• Communicate ETA, scheduling changes, and service updates to customers.
• Prioritize urgent requests while optimizing overall technician schedules.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and follow up on open work orders.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience using BuildOps.
• Background dispatching commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing technicians.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment.
• Strong scheduling, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Calm decision‑making during emergency dispatch situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
