Director of Procurement

About the role

The Procurement Director leads the development and execution of procurement strategies that support business objectives. This senior position oversees supplier relationships, cost optimization, and the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services across construction, EPC, and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies.
• Lead and manage procurement operations and team performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Manage vendor evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
• Collaborate with project, finance, and operations teams on procurement planning.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and KPIs for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of procurement experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong experience in construction, EPC, or infrastructure industries.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing large procurement budgets and complex projects.
