Corporate Security Manager – Venezuela

About the role

Diageo is seeking a Corporate Security Manager to lead security operations in Venezuela. Based in Caracas, you will support the Head of Corporate Security & Brand Protection across Central America and the Caribbean, acting as a strategic advisor on risk, business continuity, and brand protection.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and lead the comprehensive security strategy for Venezuela.
• Conduct market risk assessments, chair the risk committee and analyse critical organizational positions.
• Manage brand‑protection risks related to illicit trade, counterfeiting and smuggling, and coordinate investigations.
• Oversee secure imports, national distribution, warehouses and co‑manufacturing operations, managing the transportation control tower.
• Lead the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks and guide the local Crisis Management Team during incidents.
• Develop and deliver security training, supervise vendors and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Liaise with local authorities, intelligence networks and law‑enforcement agencies, providing executive protection and coordinating high‑profile visits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate security, risk management or related fields, preferably in high‑risk markets.
• Strong leadership with the ability to work autonomously and drive results.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ability to manage budgets, track KPIs and enforce governance standards.
