Client Manager – Oil & Gas & Distributed Generation (Gas Services)

About the role

As a Gas Services Client Manager you will be the primary liaison between Siemens Energy and key customers in the Oil & Gas and Distributed Generation sectors across Venezuela. You will reactivate long‑term relationships, coordinate internal teams, and drive commercial growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction and reliable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, rebuild and strengthen long‑term relationships with strategic customers in Oil & Gas and Distributed Generation.
• Serve as the main point of contact throughout the contract lifecycle, handling performance, obligations, scope changes and improvement initiatives.
• Identify upselling, cross‑selling and new business opportunities in gas services.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, finance) to guarantee timely, high‑quality service delivery.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals and risk management in line with company policies and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, technical field or related discipline (Master’s/MBA a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, rotating equipment, project management or sales with strong exposure to the Venezuelan energy market.
• Proven track record managing key customer accounts and long‑term service contracts.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Venezuelan market, its customers, stakeholders and industry dynamics.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and native or fully fluent Spanish.
• Strong people‑management, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
