Automation Engineer – Remote (SaaS)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Automation Engineer to own and evolve the automation infrastructure that drives key business operations for a fast‑growing SaaS company. This fully remote, full‑time position is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of hands‑on experience building production‑grade workflows and a passion for improving efficiency through technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end automation workflows for lead intake, scoring, routing, enrichment, and CRM synchronization.
• Manage Salesforce automation, including object relationships, field mapping, lead conversion logic, and activity tracking.
• Create automated reporting pipelines for daily, weekly, and monthly business metrics.
• Support internal processes such as candidate screening, meeting intelligence, calendar sync, and secure credential handling.
• Write, debug, and document Python and JavaScript code within automation platforms.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the long‑term automation strategy.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience building multi‑step, multi‑branch automations using Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and workflow automation.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) and handling prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for custom automation logic.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
