Associate Consultant – Venezuela

About the role

Crisis24’s Crisis Security Consulting (CSC) team is looking for an Associate Consultant to join its Latin America unit. The position is remote‑based in Venezuela and supports international projects, offering early‑career professionals exposure to geopolitical risk analysis and client‑facing work.

Key responsibilities

• Produce bespoke reporting and threat assessments across multiple geographies and threat types.
• Analyse data, prepare client presentations and briefings.
• Support on‑the‑ground operations during domestic and international deployments.
• Edit and proof peer deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, handling out‑of‑hours tasks as required.

Required profile

• Degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science or a related field (Master’s advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of Venezuelan political, economic and security issues and a broader interest in Latin America.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in challenging environments.
• High integrity, professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Effective time‑management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented yet capable of independent work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
