About the role

The Collections Analyst will support Mondelēz International’s Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team, ensuring accurate reconciliation of ledger accounts, bank statements and performance analysis. Working under broad supervision, the role contributes to timely U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting across the Latin America region.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed‑asset schedules and intercompany charges.
• Support month/quarter/year‑end close, statistical reporting and statutory audit activities.
• Perform moderately complex performance analyses as requested.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP and financial close processes.
• Experience in the FMCG/CPG industry or Big‑Four accounting environment preferred.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with business partners.
• Commitment to compliance, internal controls and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar financial reporting system).
• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• SOX reporting and control design.
