Accountant – DS

About the role

The Accountant – DS will ensure accurate financial records, process transactions and support reporting for a construction‑focused organization. You will work closely with finance and project teams to maintain compliance with policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, ledgers and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost‑control processes.
• Verify invoices, payments and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulations.
• Assist with tax, payroll and financial reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure or project‑based organisations.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in financial reporting.
