Tier 3 Program Management Specialist

About the role

The American Red Cross is seeking a Tier 3 Program Management Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of critical humanitarian projects. This individual will ensure program initiatives align with overall organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct activities concerned with implementation and achievement of program objectives.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate specific projects or programs.
• Integrate assigned projects with broader program initiatives.
• Analyze data, identify needs, and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare status reports and issue updates for management review.
• Oversee processes within the assigned program area and recommend procedural revisions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external government or non‑government agencies to develop strategies and proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to create presentations and develop training modules.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and adapt to sudden, unpredictable needs.
