Spanish Content Writer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native‑level Spanish Content Writer to help train next‑generation AI systems. Working remotely, you will provide high‑quality Spanish text, evaluate content against detailed rubrics, and ensure linguistic accuracy for both Latin American and European Spanish variants.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Spanish items, identify quality issues, and give feedback through Discord direct messages.
• Communicate updates, guidelines, and workflow changes to trainers and QA contributors.
• Answer language‑related questions about grammar, tone, register, cultural context, and variant differences.
• Activate and monitor inactive contributors, track follow‑ups, and flag availability problems.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, FAQs, trackers, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and deliver onboarding and training sessions for new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Spanish proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Excellent command of English for following guidelines and communicating with the team.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or related language‑review workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate Spanish content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as mistranslations, unnatural tone, missing accents, or inconsistent terminology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Discord for team communication.
• Experience using Google Sheets and Google Docs for tracking and documentation.
• Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, and rubric‑based quality evaluation.
