Senior Rust Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to design and build high‑performance backend services. You will work remotely with a global team, delivering critical systems that are scalable, secure, and responsive.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using Rust and frameworks such as Actix or Axum.
• Implement efficient asynchronous programming patterns for high‑concurrency workloads.
• Manage data persistence and optimize queries with PostgreSQL.
• Develop and integrate communication protocols using gRPC or JSON‑RPC.
• Deploy and maintain cloud‑based services in AWS environments.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through rigorous testing and memory‑safe code optimization.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on systems programming.
• Strong expertise in Rust and building performance‑critical backend services.
• Proficiency with Actix or Axum and asynchronous patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, gRPC or JSON‑RPC, and AWS deployments.
• Deep understanding of low‑level networking and high‑performance architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
