Senior ICT Associate – End‑User Support & Network Management

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Information and Communication Technology Associate to lead ICT service delivery at its Caracas office. The incumbent will ensure reliable IT infrastructure, provide end‑user support, and supervise the local ICT team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ICT staff, provide guidance and monitor daily activities.
• Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, including diagnosis, root‑cause analysis and resolution of user issues.
• Install, configure, implement and administer network equipment, servers and related IT systems.
• Coordinate the provision of ICT solutions and services in line with IOM’s ICT Strategy, policies and standards.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, procedures and support tickets.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience in information technology.
• Demonstrated experience supervising ICT staff and managing IT operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
