Regional Purchasing & Vendor Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Purchasing & Vendor Specialist to support our IT operations across Latin America and the Caribbean. The role will drive vendor sourcing, manage contracts, and ensure smooth procurement processes for hardware and services.

Key responsibilities

• Research, qualify, and maintain a database of IT service providers, contractors, and hardware distributors across LATAM and the Caribbean.
• Negotiate and manage Master Service Agreements, NDAs, and country‑specific rate cards.
• Coordinate hardware distributor relationships, track pricing, availability, and lead times.
• Follow up on purchase requests, vendor quotations, PO approvals, and delivery timelines, working closely with Finance and Operations.
• Maintain vendor profiles, certifications, pricing structures, and ensure compliance with quality and SLA standards.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in IT procurement and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure, storage solutions, virtualization environments, and field services operations.
• Experience working with international vendors, especially in multi‑country LATAM contexts.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and process‑driven organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems (SAP Business One is a plus).
