Programme Assistant (G-4) – 6‑month temporary appointment

About the role

The Programme Assistant (G‑4) will support UNICEF’s emergency response and programme implementation in Venezuela. Reporting to the Programme Section Chief, the incumbent will ensure smooth coordination between technical teams, operations units and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative, financial and logistical support for programme activities and travel.
• Assist in planning, monitoring and reporting of projects across sectors such as health, education and child protection.
• Coordinate events, meetings and knowledge‑management initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and communication materials.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education.
• Minimum four years of relevant work experience in programme or project support.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard office software for document preparation and data entry.
