IT Engineer – SysAdmin & Security (6‑month contract)

About the role

You will join Applaudo as an IT Engineer focused on systems administration and security. Working on a 6‑month contract, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the company’s enterprise IT environment while supporting a high volume of user requests.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) – identity governance, access policies, and directory services.
• Manage endpoint management platforms for device configuration, compliance, and lifecycle.
• Operate Microsoft Defender for threat detection, response, and security monitoring.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VPN infrastructure for secure remote access.
• Own system integrations across the IT ecosystem, ensuring uptime and reliability.
• Maintain corporate email infrastructure, handling provisioning, configuration, and escalations.
• Support HubSpot or similar CRM platforms from an IT administration perspective.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or senior‑level equivalents.
• Proven ability to manage high ticket volumes while meeting SLA targets.
• Strong documentation skills for runbooks, operational processes, and knowledge bases.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously across teams.
• B2+ English proficiency for collaboration with US‑based stakeholders.
