HR Coordinator

About the role

The HR Coordinator will support the company's human resources function across recruitment, employee relations, labor law compliance, compensation, and performance management. Working closely with local managers and regional HR teams, the coordinator ensures smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, partner with hiring managers, and manage the full hiring process.
• Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries, support conflict resolution, and facilitate communication between staff and management.
• Ensure compliance with Venezuelan labor legislation, maintain personnel records, and assist during labor inspections.
• Administer payroll‑related activities, benefits programs, and support salary reviews and compensation analyses.
• Support performance appraisal cycles, goal setting, training programs, and talent development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports, and ensure confidentiality of personnel information.
• Coordinate employee engagement, wellness, diversity, and inclusion programs.
• Partner with local leadership on operational objectives, organizational changes, and workforce logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Post‑graduate studies in HR Management or Labor Law are a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Relevant experience in HR functions, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
