Full Stack Engineer (Clojure/ClojureScript) – Remote

About the role

Join BairesDev as a Full Stack Engineer focused on a retail AI outfitting platform. You will own features across the stack, from database design to backend APIs and frontend interfaces, delivering AI‑driven functionality for hundreds of enterprise retailers and millions of shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement database schemas, backend services, and frontend components.
• Develop services that integrate with large language model (LLM) APIs.
• Orchestrate multi‑step AI workflows and support semantic search pipelines.
• Make independent architectural decisions within a fast‑paced, ownership‑driven team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong command of Clojure and practical experience with ClojureScript.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL schema design.
• Experience consuming LLM APIs in production.
• Advanced English proficiency.
