About the role

Escuela Campo Alegre is seeking a full‑time English Teacher to join its on‑site faculty in Caracas, Venezuela. The role involves planning and delivering engaging English language and literature lessons for students from Nursery through 12th grade, in line with the school’s North‑American curriculum and learning standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards‑based English language and literature lessons.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Integrate educational technology into daily instruction and assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with families and colleagues.
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in professional learning communities.
• Support school events, co‑curricular activities and the broader school community.

Required profile

• Degree in Education, English or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification or licensure.
• Proven experience teaching English to diverse learners in an international or multicultural setting, preferably across Nursery‑12 grades.
• Strong instructional capabilities and ability to design engaging, standards‑based units.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to relocate to Caracas and actively engage in the school community.
