Controls Automation Engineer – Emulate3D (Remote)

About the role

You will create Digital Twin solutions by using simulation and virtual commissioning tools, building digital models that interact with emulated hardware and PLC code. The position sits at the crossroads of control engineering and advanced simulation technology, enabling physical systems to be tested virtually before they reach the factory floor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Digital Twin solutions using simulation and virtual commissioning.
• Build digital models and integrate them with emulated hardware and PLC controls code.
• Utilize the Emulate3D platform to simulate automation and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure virtual models accurately reflect physical systems.
• Support virtual commissioning processes to reduce risk and accelerate deployment.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in control, automation, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with the Emulate3D platform or Unity for simulation development.
• Background in PLC programming and emulated hardware interfacing.
• Experience with Digital Twin, simulation, or virtual commissioning projects.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
