Collections & Subsidy Coordinator – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Chapman Management Group is seeking a remote Collections & Subsidy Coordinator to support its affordable‑housing portfolio across Latin America. The contractor will handle delinquency management, eviction processes, and housing‑subsidy administration for multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Track resident balances and identify accounts that meet delinquency thresholds.
• Coordinate with attorneys on filings, legal notices, and eviction proceedings.
• Draft and issue delinquency letters, pay‑or‑quit notices, and other resident communications.
• File and monitor eviction cases, ensuring deadlines are met and post‑eviction reconciliation is completed.
• Monitor and report delinquency trends across the portfolio.
• Track all subsidy activity, including vouchers, HAP contracts, and agency payments.
• Coordinate with housing‑subsidy agency caseworkers and enter payments into the property‑management system.
• Prepare and submit required paperwork to housing agencies (inspections, rent increases, recertifications, etc.).
• Monitor subsidy payment schedules and follow up on missing or delayed payments.
• Maintain organized records of delinquency activity, legal filings, subsidy accounts, and correspondence.
• Update property‑management software with status, payment activity, and case notes.
• Communicate regularly with property managers regarding resident account status and subsidy matters.

Required profile

• Prior experience in property‑management collections, legal administrative support, or housing‑subsidy administration.
• Familiarity with eviction procedures and related legal requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with attorneys and agency caseworkers.
