Business Development Manager – Sports Medicine (Venezuela)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will act as the primary link between our sports‑medicine device portfolio, commercial partners and the clinical community across Venezuela. Reporting to the regional commercial strategy, the role combines deep product expertise with market intelligence to drive adoption and support clinicians and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the regional product expert, maintaining in‑depth knowledge of device features, clinical applications and supporting evidence.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform pricing strategy and commercial decisions.
• Provide data‑driven insights on pricing opportunities and challenges to the Business Development Manager.
• Support distributor partners in developing and executing go‑to‑market strategies, delivering product training and technical presentations.
• Act as first point of contact for complex clinical or technical enquiries.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with distributors, partners and end‑user clinicians.
• Collaborate on regional sales planning, offering technical and clinical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and tender responses.
• Work with Marketing to develop sales tools and with Product Management to relay field insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a product specialist, clinical support or similar role within sports medicine.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical or clinical information clearly and persuasively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights.
