Business Development Manager – Sports Medicine (Venezuela)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will act as the key link between a global medical‑device organisation’s sports‑medicine portfolio, its commercial partners and the clinical community in Venezuela. Reporting to the regional Business Development lead, you will combine product expertise, market intelligence and partner enablement to drive adoption of innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the regional product expert, maintaining deep knowledge of product features, clinical applications and supporting evidence.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform pricing strategy and commercial decisions.
• Support distributor partners in developing and executing go‑to‑market strategies, delivering product training and technical presentations.
• Act as the first point of contact for complex clinical or technical enquiries.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with distributors, partners and end‑user clinicians.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on regional sales planning, providing technical and clinical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare technical documentation for tenders and support cross‑functional teams such as Marketing and Product Management with field insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a product specialist, clinical support or similar role within sports medicine.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical or clinical information clearly and persuasively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights.
