Airport Operations Supervisor

About the role

United is looking for an experienced Airport Operations Supervisor to lead front‑line teams at our Caracas hub. You will ensure consistent, high‑quality service for passengers and baggage while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop front‑line co‑workers to deliver excellent customer service and on‑time product quality.
• Conduct performance dialogues, review metrics, and address performance boards.
• Develop, implement, and sustain standard work and continuous‑improvement processes.
• Monitor team, zone, or cell performance and take corrective actions to meet daily goals.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on safety, service procedures, and union agreements.
• Engage with internal and external customers, providing briefings and clear communications.
• Identify issues, lead structured problem‑solving, and conduct trend analyses.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop front‑line staff.
• Strong understanding of airport safety, service standards, and operational guidelines.
• Effective communicator who can convey priorities across shifts.
• Experience in performance management and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
