About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Human Resources Associate (G‑6) to support recruitment and pre‑employment activities at its duty station in Venezuela. The role contributes to IOM’s mission of promoting humane and orderly migration.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the evaluation of staffing needs and assist in coordinating recruitment processes.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on preparing Terms of Reference and drafting vacancy notices.
- Screen, shortlist and assess applications, draft interview protocols and written tests.
- Take part in interview panels, prepare candidate assessment forms and conduct reference checks.
- Prepare job offers and manage the recruitment mailbox.
- Coordinate pre‑employment activities, including preparation of Entry on Duty documentation and collection of supporting documents.
