About the role
We are looking for a proactive Home and Mortgage Insurance Virtual Assistant to become a key pillar of our operations. This remote position requires a detail‑oriented problem solver who can manage complex insurance workflows without constant supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Manage policy cycles: renewals, cancellations, and payment updates.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails with customers and mortgage companies, including loss‑payee changes.
- Proactively follow up on missed payments and collections via phone and email.
- Navigate multiple insurance carrier platforms, our CRM, and Google Workspace efficiently.
- Ensure data integrity through precise data entry and policy detail updates.
- Provide general administrative support such as inbox management and scheduling.
Required profile
- Strong “figure‑it‑out” attitude; able to build processes independently.
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive data (SSNs, payments, insurance information).
- Prior experience with insurance carrier systems and terminology is a major plus.
- Professional, clear, and empathetic communication in English, both verbal and written.
- Reliable high‑speed internet and a quiet workspace for calls.

What we offer
- Starting rate of $6.00 per hour
- Annual bonus equal to one month’s pay
- Retention bonus and performance‑based raises at month 3, year 1 and year 2
