Site Services Manager

About the role

The Site Services Manager will oversee all site services at the US Embassy in Caracas, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality support for the DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract. This senior position requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to work under austere conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and enforce all Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Provide daily oversight of site services including IT, satellite TV, motor pool, escorts, custodial, pest control, landscaping, building maintenance, water & sewer, plumbing, electrical/mechanical systems, fuel systems, recreational facilities, pool maintenance, and residential operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and conduct employee performance reviews.
• Schedule personnel, manage shifts and rotations, and support short‑notice projects.
• Assign tasks, enforce standards of conduct, and audit work to ensure compliance with the Statement of Work and quality standards.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in an austere environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of Operations & Maintenance experience for small commercial, industrial, or military facilities.
• Strong knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, and service delivery.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
