Reservoir Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Reservoir Manager to lead reservoir engineering activities and drive performance optimisation across our oil and gas assets in Venezuela. You will be responsible for managing reservoirs, forecasting production, evaluating reserves and maximising hydrocarbon recovery through robust development strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead reservoir engineering and management functions across multiple fields.
• Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models and production forecasts.
• Conduct reserves assessments and analyse field performance.
• Identify and implement opportunities for increased recovery and production optimisation.
• Support drilling, work‑over and enhanced recovery programmes.
• Prepare field development plans and long‑term reservoir strategies.
• Monitor reservoir performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with geoscience, drilling, production and facilities teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Experience managing both mature and developing hydrocarbon assets.
• Knowledge of international industry standards and best practices.
