Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to manage maintenance requests for residential properties. The role involves coordinating vendors and technicians, tracking work orders, and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, prioritize, and track maintenance requests from tenants, guests, property managers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate repairs with maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors, scheduling appointments and providing necessary access information.
• Follow up on open work orders, handle urgent and emergency issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate clearly with all parties throughout the repair process and obtain/compare estimates when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, invoices, photos, estimates, and completed repairs.
• Monitor recurring issues, identify preventative maintenance opportunities, and update property management systems.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance coordination, property management, or facilities management.
• Strong experience coordinating contractors, handymen, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other vendors.
• Excellent communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders based on urgency and impact.
• Comfortable handling emergency maintenance situations and working independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using property management or work‑order software.
