Italian‑Speaking Short‑Term Rental Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Italian‑speaking Short‑Term Rental (STR) Specialist to support the day‑to‑day operations of our international rental portfolio. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Italian and English, highly organized, and experienced in guest communication and property management.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in Italian and English via Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, email and messaging platforms.
• Handle guest inquiries, booking requests, check‑in/check‑out questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and other property‑related services.
• Monitor reservations, calendars, availability and guest information.
• Assist with listing updates, pricing adjustments and property information.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established STR operational procedures.
• Monitor reviews and guest feedback, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with property owners, cleaners, maintenance vendors and internal teams.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
• Previous experience in short‑term rentals, property management, hospitality or guest services (preferred).
• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with PMS/channel‑management platforms such as Guesty, Hostaway or Hostfully.
• Proficiency using Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO platforms.
