Custodian CAA Supervisor

About the role

The Custodian, CAA (Cleared Access Area) Supervisor will work on Amentum sites within the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, supporting the DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract for the U.S. Department of State. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, the role combines custodial leadership with escort duties in classified areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of custodians in cleaning and escorting duties across CAA office spaces, conference rooms, data processing areas, restrooms, lobbies, corridors, and stairways.
• Maintain up‑to‑date work schedules, ensure all areas are cleaned according to the Statement of Work, and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as window cleaning with aerial lifts, carpet shampooing, floor stripping, waxing, polishing, and sealing of stone/marble surfaces.
• Escort non‑cleared personnel into classified zones, monitor their activities, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Complete administrative tasks including material ordering, inventory tracking, work scheduling, and report preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year supervising custodial staff in a residential or similar facility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to seventy pounds and walk long distances regularly.
• Strong cross‑cultural sensitivity and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication abilities.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
