Category Management Specialist

About the role

The Category Management Specialist will design and execute advanced category management processes for key customers in the DT, IT, and D&P segments. This role focuses on turning shopper insights into profitable selling stories and delivering measurable ROI through data‑driven assortment and space strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead category optimization by defining optimal assortment and shelf placement to maximize space profitability and sales.
• Develop comprehensive category assessments and productivity analyses using Colgate‑Palmolive tools, delivering quarterly performance reviews.
• Create and present compelling category selling stories and new product exhibition proposals, overseeing pilot roll‑outs and expansions.
• Partner with sales and commercial teams to identify growth opportunities and implement advanced execution tools for stakeholders.
• Lead training initiatives for merchandisers, commercial teams, and external clients on CATMAN methodologies and specialized software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• Minimum 2 + years experience in sales, commercial, or marketing roles.
• Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel for advanced data management.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
