Accounting Assistant – Employee Expenses & AP

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in Caracas. The role focuses on supporting expense reimbursements, accounts payable, and month‑end closing activities while ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end process of employee expense reimbursements.
• Support accounts payable by verifying invoices and preparing payment requests.
• Assist with internal workflows such as procurement and contract processing.
• Help with month‑end closing tasks, including documentation and basic reconciliations.
• Coordinate with business units to track expenses and monitor processing status.
• Perform other routine accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, or a recent graduate with strong potential.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, and execution‑driven.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
