Assistant Superintendent – Golf Course Maintenance

About the role

The Assistant Superintendent supports the daily operations of the Golf Course Maintenance department at Invited’s private clubs. Working closely with the 1st Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent, you will help ensure the health and appearance of all turf, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials across the golf course and clubhouse grounds.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in providing agronomic direction for healthy growth of grasses, trees, and plant materials.
• Coordinate, apply, and document chemical treatments while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Schedule and maintain irrigation systems and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Support crew scheduling, task assignment, and hands‑on training in technical and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, expense forecasts, and asset management reports.
• Participate in regular management meetings to review operations, safety, and environmental concerns.
